Watercolor artist Kathy Martino's work is being both prized and recognized by homeowners, home decorators, appreciators, and patrons of the arts.
She began crafting in Pawtuxet Village with stenciling, and continues today with marbleizing, glazing, mural-like stenciling and watercolor home portraits. To see more of Kathy's work check out her website...
Ryan Bouchard, author of 'Gourmet Mushrooms of RI' and Emily Schmidt, schooled in the countless ways to use mushrooms in cooking as well as their nutritional value will give two 45 minute presentations focusing on identification and uses of wild native mushrooms.
You will come away knowing much more about mushrooms!
The presentations will be held at
11:00 AM and 1:00 PM.

Normand Peloquin from
Celestial Offerings will be here with his delicious local RI honey and his astonishing encaustic paintings made using beeswax.

Patrick Wood, another talented local artist will be with us showcasing his original paintings and pottery.
Patrick has been painting for nearly 45 years, beginning with watercolors in the 1970s, getting into oils in the 90s and most recently working with acrylics.
His pots are mostly traditional utilitarian vessels, he continues to enjoy messing around with color and form

Avril Dufresne, a graduate of Massachusettes College of Art, has a real passion for finding things that people would consider to be junk and making them not only useful again but beautiful too! She will reuse almost anything in her projects.
Avril will have many of her creations on display and for sale.
Jessica Hines, a Rhode Island School of Design graduate is a talented artist and has been an art educator for over fifteen years. Check out her art classes here...
She will be bringing her beautiful Mandala Rocks, photography cards and other art work.

Elizabeth Guardia works for Citizens for GMO labeling, a grassroots movement dedicated to regaining our basic right to know what we are eating and feeding our families.
At 12:00 she will be talking about GMO's and the movement to require foods that contain GMO's be labeled here in RI and nationwide. She will also be here
to share information after her presentation.
