We’ll outline suitable native plants for Rhode Island’s moderate climate and the secrets to making a garden sustainable and a treat to behold.

Come back in the afternoon and enjoy witnessing the installation. Want to get your hands dirty with delightfully rich organic soils? Grab a spade and dig in! All ages welcome.

3:00 PM Container Planting

Don't have access to raised beds or a garden space? Learn how to cultivate a variety of different plants in containers. We will teach you about container sizes, plant arrangements, and how to best feed and care for your container plants. A great gardening method for city dwellers!

Free Cooking Demonstrations with Wild Foods Chef Brett Mayette
